Eligibility of participants to the CEI2015 conference

 

1. Participants must be between 13 and 18 years old.

 

2. Delegations of 4 to 6 secondary students should be accompanied by an adult (over 21; teacher or counsellor)

 

3. Delegates should have a level of English that will allow them to fully participate in the Conference.

 

4. The conference certificate will only be awarded to those who actively participate in all the activities of the conference programme.

 

5. Registration is on-line or by using the word form

 

6. Registration fee (early bird by 31 January) includes all the activities of the programme e.g. school visits, insurance, food and accommodation on the days of the conference

 

7. Before the conference, the delegations must participate in a project on the theme of the conference and prepare an oral presentation and a poster for the conference; the 7 principles of Oceans literacy can be found on the web page, as well as other Links to inspire you.

 

8. We invite the delegations to join a project that the Portuguese schools are developing called “The Bridge between the School and the Blue Science" (more info on the webpage)

 

9. Short Film Contest – the short film contest is open to all delegations. Rules and regulations will soon be on the webpage. There will be a prize for the winning team (up to 3 participants)
